Punk Rock Photography gets their western space grunge on at Brooklyn Bowl with Dexter and the Moonrocks. Rocking and moshing and Cheez-Its, oh my!

Punk Rock Photography goes down to Georgia to photograph the 2nd Annual Southern Gothic Festival in Athens. While there she hears and photographs the following bands: Vincas, Tears for The Dying, Panic Priest, Vision Video, House of Harm, Korine, The March Violets, Miss Cherry Delight, Deceits, and The Chameleons. Not in that order.
Punk Rock Photography goes out to the goth/darkwave show at a new-ish Nashville and makes radiant photos of the wonderful bands Vision Video, Tears for the Dying, and Aurelio Voltaire. Serious fun, with serious moments also mixed with the fun.
Punk Rock Photography goes out to two nights of exceptional music in Nashville - one early night of excellent rock-n-roll by Canadians Terra Lightfoot and Brandy Zdan, one a later night of electronic pop-rock music by Black Bra, sugar sk*-*lls, and Pressure Heaven. More than country (but also country) all day, every day. Listen to some great tunes by these bands and see photos from these shows.
Punk Rock Photography eschews Bonnaroo, and spends a Saturday night in East Nashville instead - two venues, three shows, five hours. The music runs the gamut from acoustic Americana to industrial darkwave, all in a mile-and-a-half. In other words, just another Saturday night in Nashville, TN. Bands featured include: Quichenight, Fetching Pails, Tower Defense, Lilly Hiatt, Jenny Wood and the Wooden Lovers, Tiblinski, Spectral Body, The Pop Ritual, and Bestial Mouths.
Punk Rock Photography goes to a darkwave night to see Clan of Xymox, The Bellwether Syndicate, and Bellhead. Two bands from Chicago and one from Europe. It was delicious - a welcome return to music that our narrator has loved for a long, long time.
Punk Rock Photography takes advantage of the quiet doldrums of February to think about, and show you, her favorite photographs from 2022. Live music, beautiful light, skulls, and fashion, oh my! And there's a new album by the Screaming Females, so a song from that is included as well. Exciting!
Punk Rock Photography goes to see and photograph the band L7 on the first night of the Bricks Are Heavy 30th Anniversary tour. Our humble narrator has been listening to this album for 30 years and it still feels like the first time, every time. Punk Rock Photography wants to be L7 when it grows up.
Punk Rock Photography goes to the Out Loud Music festival on 9.17.22, and has a marvellous time photographing Lauren Sanderson, Tynomi Banks, Betty Who, and CHVRCHES. A beautifully uplifting time was had with fantastic music and lights and dancing. Out Loud festival describes itself as being "to celebrate LGBTQI+ and ally musicians/artists. The festival creates a fun, energetic, and diverse line up that celebrates equality." So it was just the place for ally Punk Rock Photography to rock out.
